AW22 CONCEPT

For AW22, designer Dylan Best has continued to focus on designing casual, unisex garments that can effortlessly be styled into street ready looks. Predominantly cut, sewn, and made in Melbourne, the collection champions quality Japanese fabrics to create relaxed garments that exude a laidback aesthetic.

Favoured fabrics include traditional cotton, cotton mixes, technical fabrics and merino wool knits, ideal for when temperatures drop. “Each season we strive to improve our design process and practices to create the best possible garment. Whether that be a simple t-shirt that fits perfectly or a much-needed Winter staple, the mac coat,’ says Dylan.

This season the core Best Jumpers range features classic colourways of almond, light grey, mint and deep navy, with the brand’s iconic wombat icon emblazoned on each piece. New additions to the range include 100% Australian merino wool beanies and V-neck sweaters in a boxy fit available in three vibrant colourways: magpie, electric pink and brown melange.

Outerwear includes a cotton mac coat with contrasting white stitching, a neoprene bomber and a short jacket – all items designed for layering during the cooler months. And for the first time, a new relaxed carrot fit pant and over shirt, available in a luxurious cord fabric. Best Jumpers’ popular elasticated relaxed dress pants also now come in wool flannel with a fun pop of magenta.

The collection also welcomes a new addition to the Best Jumpers family: the SNEAK01 sneaker. It only seemed fitting for the brand to introduce a casual yet dressing footwear option to neatly complete a look. The sneakers will feature gum soles and be available in white and black colourways.
